Yes, dogs are allowed at Latitude 30 with prior approval, 40 pounds maximum, a pet fee of $200 per dog, and some breeds are restricted by the insurer.
Message us before you book to confirm your dog is eligible. Dogs only, no other pets. Restricted breeds include akita, American pit bull terrier, Staffordshire terrier, Catahoula leopard, chow, Doberman pinscher, German shepherd, presa canario, pit bull, Rottweiler, Staffordshire bull terrier, wolf, and husky.
Once approved, your dog gets a private fenced dog run beside the grassy yard, a dog bed, food and water bowls, and a crate, all provided.
The beach is 300 steps away and it is one of the most dog friendly beaches on the Gulf Coast. A leash law is in effect, and pet waste must be bagged and put in an outside receptacle. During turtle nesting season, May through October, no white flashlights on the beach after sunset.
House rules for dogs: keep them off the furniture, clean up after them in the yard and on the beach, and keep them off the pool deck.
Raccoons are very active out here. Never leave food outside overnight, tie trash bags tight, and strap the bin lids down.
