Yes, the driveway at Whispering Waves fits 3 to 4 cars, and free street parking with no permit needed is available in front of and across from the house for the rest of the group.
There are no assigned spots and no gate. The driveway fills first, and the street in front of and across from the home has room for another 4 to 6 cars.
Please do not park in front of the neighbors houses. South Haven asks short term rental guests to follow its Good Neighbor Guide, and parking is one of the things it covers.
Most groups park once and walk. Downtown South Haven is a 5 minute walk and the beach is 15 to 20 minutes on foot via the Blue Stairs, so the cars can sit in the driveway for most of the trip.
There are exterior security cameras at the front and back of the property. They cover outside areas only and there are none indoors.
Uber and Lyft run in South Haven and can drop off and pick up right at the driveway. Driving in, South Haven is about 2 hours from Chicago, about 1 hour 15 minutes from Gerald R. Ford International Airport in Grand Rapids, and about 3 hours from Indianapolis.
Trash and recycling go in the bins near the driveway, and car washing is not allowed on the property.
