Yes, pets are welcome at Whispering Waves with prior approval and a pet fee of $200 per pet, up to 2 pets, and the backyard is fully fenced.

The fenced yard is the reason dog families pick this house. Dogs can be out back while the kids use the playscape and the sandbox, with no leash walk needed first thing in the morning.
Rules: keep pets supervised and clean up after them, and no pets in the hot tub.
For a longer outing, the Kal Haven Trail runs 34 miles of flat crushed limestone from South Haven to Kalamazoo and starts in town, and the South Haven pier walk at sunset is a short walk from the house.
Whispering Waves sits in a quiet residential neighborhood a 5 minute walk from downtown. Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM, and South Haven publishes a Good Neighbor Guide for short term rental guests that covers noise, parking, and trash. A dog left barking alone in the yard will be noticed, so bring the dog inside when you head to the beach.
