If You Do One Thing
Catch a show at Organ Stop Pizza. A 6,000-pipe Wurlitzer organ rises from the floor while you eat wood-fired pizza. Nightly performances that are somehow both ridiculous and incredible. Mesa weird in the best possible way.

Eats & Drinks

Breakfast
Breakfast
What's Crackin' Cafe
Massive portions, creative benedicts, and the kind of pancakes that ruin all other pancakes for you. On E McDowell Rd, 10 minutes from the house. Weekend waits are worth it.
The Hangover Benedict and a fresh-squeezed OJ.
Tacos
Tacos

BBQ
BBQ
Big Nate's BBQ
Legit local barbecue with serious smoke and even more serious sides. No fuss, just good meat. Easy pickup for a backyard spread or a sit-down with the crew.
The jalapeño cheddar sausage. Don't overthink it.
Southwest Breakfast
Breakfast
Crackers & Co. Cafe
Southwest-style breakfast that actually tastes like Arizona. Green chile burritos, chilaquiles, and breakfast bowls that hit differently than the usual eggs-and-toast routine. Local favorite with a loyal crowd.
The green chile breakfast burrito or the chilaquiles.
Coffee
Coffee
Lost Dutchman Coffee
Locally roasted, small-batch coffee on N Center St in downtown Mesa. Named after the famous Superstition Mountains legend. Great cold brew, chill vibes, and the baristas actually care.
A cold brew and one of the fresh pastries.
Cocktails
Cocktails
Alchemy 48
Downtown Mesa speakeasy with prohibition-era craft cocktails. Dark, moody, and the kind of place that makes a Tuesday feel like an event. On W Main St. 21+ only.
Ask the bartender to make you something. Trust them.
Fine Dining
Splurge
Espiritu
Latin-inspired fine dining in downtown Mesa. Creative small plates, incredible cocktails, and an atmosphere that punches way above what you'd expect. On W Main St.
The chef's tasting menu. Let them take you on a ride.
Pizza
Family Night
Organ Stop Pizza
Not just pizza. A 6,000-pipe Wurlitzer organ rises from the floor for nightly shows. Wood-fired pizza while watching a full musical performance. Kids lose their minds. Adults do too. On E Southern Ave.
A large pepperoni and a front-row seat.

Groceries: Walmart Supercenter on E McKellips Rd is a quick drive for everything you need. Fry's Food Store is also on E McKellips, just a couple minutes further east.

Best Group Dinner
A Modo Mio for the whole crew. Authentic Italian, wood-fired pizza, handmade pasta, bottles of wine. The kind of dinner where nobody checks the time and everyone's still talking about it the next morning. Book ahead for large groups.

Touristy Thing That's Actually Worth It
Goldfield Ghost Town. Yes, it's a tourist trap. But the Mammoth Gold Mine underground tour is legitimately fascinating, the saloon is fun, and kids can pan for gold. It's 25 minutes east on the Apache Trail and the drive through the Superstition Mountains alone is worth the trip.
Traveling with Kids?
Mesa is a goldmine for families. And you have a heated pool, mini-golf, and a basketball court in the backyard, so half your days are already planned.

Farm
Schnepf Farms
Seasonal working farm with hayrides, U-pick peaches and pumpkins, and festivals throughout the year. In Queen Creek, about 35 minutes. Check their calendar, events change monthly.
Too Hot Outside?
It's Arizona. Some days the move is staying cool. Here's your plan.

Golfland Sunsplash
Golfland Sunsplash
Water park, arcade, and mini-golf all in one. Lazy river, tube slides, go-karts. On S Alma School Rd, about 15 minutes away. Great half-day plan when the backyard isn't enough.
Best Lazy Afternoon
Stay in. Heated pool, shaded backyard, outdoor games, someone starts the grill. Half the group floats, the other half argues over cornhole. Nobody checks the time. Nobody needs to go anywhere. That's the whole point of this place.
Best Photo Spot
Saguaro Lake at golden hour. Desert mountains reflecting off the water with wild horses along the shore. Or hit the street art murals along West Main Street in downtown Mesa for something more colorful.

How Everything Works

🏊 Pool

Private heated pool in the backyard. Pool toys are provided. No glass in or near the pool area. Supervise children under 14 at all times. Toddlers must wear swim diapers. Shower with soap before entering. No diving, running, or horseplay. No pets in the pool or on the pool deck.

Important: Keep the solar pool cover on when the pool is not in use (maintains heat and cleanliness). Remove all pool toys from the water after each use so the pool vacuum can do its thing. Do not adjust the pool heater settings. They're programmed by our maintenance team.

🍴 Grill

Propane BBQ grill in the backyard. Propane is provided and a grill brush is available. Open the lid before lighting, preheat 10-15 minutes, and replace the cover when cool.

🎮 Game Room

Pool table, lounge seating, Smart TV, and futons for extra sleeping. Great for rainy days, late nights, or keeping the kids busy while the adults relax by the pool.

⚽ Backyard Games

Mini-golf and a basketball court right in the backyard. No need to go anywhere for entertainment.

📺 TV & Streaming

Smart TVs in the main living area and game room. Streaming only (no cable). Log in with your own accounts and log out before you leave.

🌡️ Heating & AC

Central heating and air conditioning throughout the home. Wall-mounted digital thermostat. Adjust to your comfort. When leaving for the day, set to 80°F (summer) or 65°F (winter) to conserve energy. Keep blinds closed during the day in summer for better AC efficiency. The large open spaces with vaulted ceilings may take longer to cool in peak heat.

The game room has a twin futon and a queen futon (sleeps up to 3). A queen air mattress is also available if you need it. Pack 'n Play available on request. Linens are provided for all beds including pull-outs and futons.
