If You Do One Thing
Drive the Cades Cove Loop early morning. Rolling peaks, deer, black bears, and historic cabins around every bend. Even better on vehicle-free Wednesdays in summer.
Where to Eat & Drink
Breakfast
Sawyer's Farmhouse Breakfast
Made-from-scratch everything. Voted best breakfast in Pigeon Forge for a reason. Family-owned since 2014.
Try the M&M pancakes or the French Toast
Classic
The Old Mill Restaurant
Southern food done the way it used to be. Right next to the 1830s water-powered gristmill. The atmosphere alone is worth the trip.
Get the corn chowder and pecan pie. Non-negotiable.
Dinner Splurge
The Peddler Steakhouse
Right on the Little Pigeon River in Gatlinburg. You pick your steak from the butcher display and watch it grilled over open flames. Since 1976.
Sit by the river. Ask for the ribeye.
Casual / Family
The Local Goat
Adventurous menu without the sticker shock. Locally sourced, craft beer on tap, way better than typical Pigeon Forge chain fare.
The homemade ketchup is oddly addictive. Save room for the lava cake.
Group Dinner
Gaucho Urbano
Brazilian steakhouse with top-notch service. Endless cuts of meat carved tableside. Great for big groups celebrating something.
Pace yourself on the salad bar. The picanha is the star.
Coffee
Old Mill Coffee & General Store
Grab a fresh cup next to the historic gristmill. Good pastries, great atmosphere, easy parking.
Breakfast / Kids
Frizzle Chicken Cafe
Quirky diner with animatronic singing chickens that perform at your table. Total chaos in the best way. Kids lose their minds. Adults actually enjoy it too.
Chicken and Waffles, obviously.
Group Lunch
Mama's Farmhouse
All-you-can-eat Southern rotating menu served family-style at long tables. Fried chicken, biscuits, green beans, corn pudding. Perfect for a 20-person group who can't agree on a restaurant.
Get there early. It fills up fast.
Drinks & Eats
Calhoun's
East Tennessee BBQ icon. Full bar, river views, and actual flavor in the food. Good spot to unwind after a day in the park.
The ribs and a local draft.
Groceries: Publix Supermarket, Food City, and Kroger are all a quick drive.

Best Group Dinner
Gaucho Urbano. All-you-can-eat Brazilian steakhouse, meat carved tableside, and the whole table eats at their own speed. Perfect for 15+ people who can never agree on a restaurant. Book ahead.
Traveling with Kids?
Pack 'n Play is set up in the main floor King Suite for infants. Indoor trampoline, arcade, and pool table downstairs for everyone else. These outside picks round out the trip.
Grotto Falls
A 2.6-mile roundtrip hike to a waterfall you can walk behind. Totally doable with little legs.
Dollywood
Award-winning rides for every age. Plus Splash Country next door for water fun. Just 10 minutes from the cabin.
The Donut Friar
Gatlinburg bakery since 1969. Cash only, opens at 5am. Get there early or they sell out.
Parrot Mountain & Gardens

The Game Room Downstairs
You don't always need to go anywhere. The lower level has a full-size X-Men arcade machine, pool table, indoor trampoline, foosball, air hockey, and an LED fireplace lounge. Kids claim it as their own. Adults fight them for it.
Rainy Day?
No stress. Here are your indoor plays.
Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies
Voted one of the best aquariums in the country. Walk-through shark tunnel, jellyfish gallery, touch tanks. Way better than you'd expect.
Titanic Museum
Original artifacts from the ship. Touristy, but weirdly moving. You get a boarding pass of a real passenger at entry.
WonderWorks
100+ interactive exhibits in a building that looks like it's upside down. Kids go wild. Adults don't hate it.
The Comedy Barn
Clean variety show with magic and ventriloquism. Fun for all ages. Good rainy evening call.
Pigeon Forge Snow
Indoor snow tubing park open year-round. Actual snow, actual tubes, actual fun. Great for July or January. Address: 2533 Teaster Ln.
Or stay in. The game room has a pool table, X-Men arcade, foosball, air hockey, and an indoor trampoline. Rainy days were made for this cabin.
Touristy Thing That's Actually Worth It
Dollywood. Yes, really. There's a reason it keeps winning "best theme park." The roller coasters are legit, the cinnamon bread is dangerous, and little kids through grandparents all find their thing. Give it a full day.
Best Lazy Afternoon
Pool table tournament downstairs, hot tub crew on the deck, someone fires up the grill. Half the group naps, the other half trash-talks over foosball. That's the Sweet Escape move.
Best Photo Spot
Sunset from your cabin deck with the mountain views. Look for the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel glowing in the distance at night. For the iconic shot, drive to Clingmans Dome for 360-degree views.

Getting Here
📍
Location
Pigeon Forge, TN
Your unique door code comes through Happy Guest once you've wrapped up the rental agreement, ID check, and security hold. It goes live at 4 PM on check-in day. Walk right in.
Park 6-8 vehicles in the private driveway. Plenty of room for large groups. Wheelchair-accessible ramp at the entrance from the parking area.
McGhee Tyson Airport (Knoxville): ~45-60 min | Asheville Regional: ~2 hrs
GPS will get you close, but the final turn can be tricky at night. Look for small street signs and go slow on the steep, narrow roads. 4WD/AWD recommended in winter.
Security cameras: Exterior cameras are installed at the front and back doors. They cover entry/exit points only. No interior cameras. Used for safety and to verify check-in and checkout times.
The Ground Rules
Nothing crazy. Just a few things that keep the cabin in great shape for you and everyone after you.
👥Max 34 guests. All overnight guests need to be registered. Day visitors? Totally fine with prior approval, but total guests on property can't exceed 34. Minimum age for the primary guest is 25.
🎉No parties or excessive noise. Family gatherings? Absolutely. That's what this place is for. But it's a quiet, respectful neighborhood, so keep it chill.
🚫No smoking indoors. Tampering with smoke detectors is a $1,000 fine. Don't be that person.
🐺Bears are real up here. All trash goes in the bear-proof cages outside, bagged and sealed. Never leave food or trash outside. Lock car doors and remove anything scented from your vehicle.
🗑Trash note: Everything that fits in the bear-proof cages is included with your stay. Due to new local regulations on dumpster fees, any excess trash requiring additional pickup is a $50 fee (goes directly to our cleaners). If the cages are full, leave bagged trash in the kitchen.
🕪Quiet hours: 10 PM to 8 AM. Sound carries in the mountains. No amplified music outdoors after 10. Keep voices low and move things inside.
💺Treat it like your own. Accidents happen. Just let us know. You're responsible for anything beyond normal wear and tear.
🚫No illegal substances. Keep it clean, keep it legal.
🐶 Pet Policy
We're pet friendly, but prior approval is required. Please message us before booking to confirm your pet. Once approved, keep them supervised, clean up after them.
How Everything Works
♨️ Hot Tub
On the basement-level deck, drained, cleaned, and refilled before every stay. Uses bromine (gentler on skin, no chlorine smell). A few things to keep it that way:
🥃No glass anywhere near the hot tub. Plastic cups are your friend.
👶Under 12? Skip it. Under 16? An adult needs to be right there.
🧴Quick rinse off before hopping in. Swimwear only. Keeps the water clean for everyone.
⚠️Cover goes back on when you're done. In winter, this is critical to prevent damage to the hot tub. No alcohol, food, or pets in or near the hot tub.
🏊 Resort Pool
Outdoor seasonal resort pool shared with the community. Turn left out of your parking area, drive to the end of the road. Pool parking is on the left.
Pool Details: 3205 Choctaw Hill Way, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863
Gate Code: 8767
Hours: 9 AM - 9 PM | Season: Memorial Day through Labor Day
Closed every Wednesday for cleaning and maintenance.
🛀 Jacuzzi Tubs
Most bedrooms have jacuzzi tubs for extra relaxation. No bath salts, bath bombs, or oils though. They damage the jets and are a nightmare for our cleaning crew.
🎮 Game Room
Lower level has the pool table and a classic X-Men full-size arcade machine. Upstairs loft has foosball and air hockey. Board games and books available too. LED fireplace lounge for when you need a break from winning.
🔥 Fireplaces
Seven fireplaces total. Five across the king suites: open the bottom panel, find the ON/OFF switch, one knob for temperature, and one knob for light output. Two additional LED fireplaces in the living room and game room. Use the remote or the on/off button.
📺 TV & Streaming
75" Smart TVs in the main living areas and game room. Log in with your own streaming accounts and log out before you leave. Extra batteries are stored next to the TV on the main floor in the canoe decoration.
🌱 Grill
Propane BBQ grill on the deck. Starter propane is provided. Turn off the gas valve at the tank when you're done and let the grill cool before covering it.
🌡️ Heating & AC
Central heat and AC throughout. Digital thermostat on the main floor near the living room. When heading out for the day in summer, set to 75°F to keep the cabin cool without overworking the system. In winter, 65°F when not in use. Large open spaces take a bit longer to cool in summer — give it time to adjust. In freezing weather, leave a faucet dripping slightly to prevent pipe bursts.
🧺 Laundry
Full washer and dryer on the lower level with a starter stash of detergent. Iron and ironing board are in the laundry area.
🏭 Bedrooms & Sleeping
Seven bedrooms spread across three levels. Six of the seven have a private ensuite Jacuzzi tub.
Main Level (Sleeps 6): Two King Suites, each with ensuite Jacuzzi tub, walk-in shower, and fireplace. Plus a West Elm sofa that converts to a full-size bed with full pull-out mattress.
Upper Level (Sleeps 16): Two King Suites, each with ensuite Jacuzzi tub, walk-in shower, and fireplace. Plus two full bunk beds with twin trundles and a West Elm sofa bed. Shared guest bathroom (shower only) also on this level.
Lower Level (Sleeps 12): One King Suite with Jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower, one King Bedroom with Jacuzzi tub (shared bathroom), one Queen Bunk Bedroom (shared bathroom), and two West Elm sofa beds.
Baby gear: Pack 'n Play is available and set up in the King Suite on the main floor. Extra linens are stored under bathroom sinks throughout the cabin.
🍳 Kitchen
Fully loaded for big group cooking: full-size fridge, electric stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, Keurig, Instant Pot, toaster, blender, and ice maker. Dinnerware for 30. We leave starter K-Cups, but bring your own creamer and sugar to be safe. Rinse your dishes before loading the dishwasher. It works way better that way.
🐛 Ladybugs & Wildlife
Ladybugs and bees show up seasonally and they're harmless. Keep windows closed and they'll mostly stay outside. Bears, deer, and wild turkeys may visit too. It's a mountain thing.
