When is the best time to visit Brooklyn?
Brooklyn Bliss in Williamsburg is busy all year because New York City is a year round market, February and March are the slower months, and summer weekends, holiday blocks, and New York City event weekends fill up first, so those dates should be booked early.
Summer is peak. Smorgasburg runs Saturdays April through October on the Williamsburg waterfront with 100+ food vendors, the McCarren Park pool opens for the season a 5 minute walk away, and Domino Park at sunset is the one thing every guest should do. Summer and high demand weekends carry a 3 night minimum.
Fall and spring are fire pit season in the backyard. The string lights come on at dusk, the propane fire pit lights with a knob, and the Williamsburg Bridge pedestrian path at golden hour is the photo spot. Brooklyn Flea runs Sundays, and the free street art walking tour leaves Saturdays at 2 PM.
Winter brings the holidays. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's carry a 4 night minimum, and we provide holiday decorations. Each room has its own heating unit, the electric fireplace in the living room gives off heat, and Nitehawk Cinema, a dine in theater on Metropolitan Avenue, is open every day of the year. Ice skating is at the LeFrak Center in Prospect Park.
Whatever the season, Manhattan is 7 minutes away on the L train, which runs all day and night, so a rainy day moves indoors to the museums without changing the plan.
