Yes, Brooklyn Bliss has a fenced backyard with a propane fire pit, a gas grill, a hammock, and string lights, shared with the building and available to reserve for your group for an evening on request.
The fire pit runs on propane, so there is no wood to haul. Remove the cover and lid, open the tank valve slowly, turn the ignition knob to start, and adjust the flame with the same knob. A full tank lasts about 7 hours. When you are done, turn it off, close the valve, wait 5 minutes for it to cool, and put the lid and cover back. Never leave it unattended.
The gas grill is beside it, with BBQ utensils in the kitchen. The string lights run on a dusk to dawn timer and come on by themselves. The hammock is for afternoon reading, there is patio seating around the fire pit.
The backyard is shared with the building's 3 other units, and it rarely feels that way. If you want it to yourselves for a birthday dinner or a proposal, message us before your stay and we will reserve it for your group for the evening.
House rules for the yard: quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM and neighbors live upstairs, so keep voices low after 10. Smoking is allowed in the backyard only, never indoors, with butts in the receptacles provided. Leave the space clean for the next household.
You reach the yard through the back door and a side walkway, which can have uneven ground, so watch your step after dark.
