Three miles from Sunday River, tucked into the Western Maine mountains, Keystone Lodge is the rare kind of place that gets better every season. Ski fresh powder and come home to a soak in the hot tub under the stars. Spend your summers with pool days, fire pit s'mores, and hikes through trails that go on forever. Show up in the fall when the whole mountainside turns gold, then stay up late playing arcade games by the fireplace. Room for 25 guests, a layout built for groups who actually want to spend time together, and enough going on that nobody is bored for a single hour. This is not a ski condo. What Makes It Special

Open Memorial Day through Labor Day, weather permitting. We keep it running as long as the season holds. Summer days at the lodge are a full experience.

We booked this for a family reunion with 22 people and it handled us perfectly. The bunk room alone slept most of the kids, and the adults had real beds with actual privacy. Hot tub was going all three nights, the arcade kept the teenagers busy, and the views from the deck every morning were something else. Three miles to Sunday River is not an exaggeration. We were on the mountain in ten minutes. Already looking at bringing the whole group back for foliage season.
Booked this for a ski trip with sixteen friends and it was genuinely the best group rental we have ever done. The drive to Sunday River is nothing. You come back to a hot tub and a warm lodge every single afternoon. We played arcade games, made huge dinners in the kitchen, and never once felt like we were on top of each other. Beds are comfortable, the place is spotless, and Polaris was easy to communicate with from start to finish. We will be back.
We came for fall foliage and could not believe how beautiful it was. The aerial views of the mountains from the deck are spectacular in October. We did day hikes to Grafton Notch, visited Bethel, and still spent half our time just sitting on the deck with coffee. The fire pit at night was magical. The lodge itself is huge and beautifully set up for a big group. Highly recommend for any season, but fall might be the best kept secret here.
